IT Project Manager (m/w/d) - München

Your Tasks:

  • Successfully perform and planning of small, medium, large, complex and critical IT projects (resources, cost, time, dependencies & risks), in the Administration / Market / Customer area or Products / Manufacturing area
  • Perform / coordinate the necessary requirements analysis and project evaluation with other IT & business units leading to a detailed project specification
  • Manage assigned projects by leading and motivating project teams in order to implement the agreed results and deliverables on time, cost and quality
  • Monitor the project performance
  • Report the project status – also on top management or board level – according to specification and initiate applicable measures accordingly
  • Ensure proper communication to all stakeholders inside and outside the project
  • Identify & monitor risks and initiate mitigation actions as necessary
  • Perform change management in assigned projects
  • Coordinate and design operational concepts, rollouts and training plans
  • Manage external vendors and service providers
  • Design, implement, steer, improve and review global project standards and methodologies
  • Member of global Project Delivery Office
  • Report to Manager Project Management

Your Skills:

  • Degree holder in IT, Engineering or Business Administration
  • Several years of professional experience in managing programs / project of at least 20 team members, including significant change management aspects
  • Hands-on experience in project methodologies (e.g. PMI, IMPA or PRINCE2) as well as agile project management methods such as SCRUM – if possible supported by a certification
  • Sound knowledge in general IT; tool / application / process knowledge desirable
  • Knowledge of procedural models such as ITIL or CMMI are a big plus
  • (Expert) in project controlling / management reporting knowledge
  • Positive, confident personality

  • Very good communication skills and social competency
  • Strong sense of urgency, perseverance, and the creativity to overcome obstacles
  • German and English – Fluent
