Job description:
1. PCB Layout Design Team Coordinating:
- Follow up of PCB layout design activity with close collaboration with design teams
- Report activity to e-CAD manager
- Support to e-CAD manager on financial topics and KPI’s
- Manage Annual Appraisal Interviews & Trainings of e-CAD team in line with objectives assigned by e-CAD manager
- Ensure proper deployment of methodology and standards
2. PCB Layout Design:
- Occasional Schematic Capture using customer Global component library
- Placement and routing per customer Design Layout Specifications and Guidelines
- Drawings and manufacturing files output per customer standard procedures
3. Signal and Power Integrity analysis:
- Train & support technically the users, be recognized as referent and a focal point of technical expertise and leadership in SI/PI
- Provide PCBA layout feedback for improvements and create routing layout guideline for generic and specific High speed constraints PCBA (Memories, high speed serial I/F, etc …)
- Write and maintain technical or methodological standards dedicated to e-CAD on High Speed electronics (design rules, methodologies, technologies …)
- Deploy and promote these standards by creating/providing trainings through customer Technical Institutes (VTI) and in off-shore development sites.
Skills:
- Electrical/High Speed Electronic Engineering
- Electronics/EMC -ESD
- Mechanical Design
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB layout design, from single layer up to 12 layer boards with components populated on both sides. (0201, 0402, 0605, TQFP, BGA, μvias, etc…)
- Ideally PCB Layout previous experience in high speed electronics in the automotive area is a plus, but also others industries like telecom, computers, consumer electronics can be considered.
- Previous experience on Signal / Power Integrity analysis would be a plus..

- DFM Guidelines
- Testability (ICT)
- Insertion equipment
- Soldering ( Reflow,Wave, BGA, fine pitch + Lead Free )
- Conformal Coating

- Main cost drivers
Mechatronics: (good)
- 2D/3D drawings understanding
- 2D/3D mechanical constraints on the PCB (keepouts, height restrictions…)
- Thermal constraints, heat sinks…
- IDF, DXF, IGES import/export
CAD tools: (good)
- Cadence Concept & Allegro or similar Autorouter
- Gerber editors (ex: GCPrevue, Gerbtool)
- DFM editors (ex: Fabmaster, Valor ODB++, CAM350)
Certification/Knowledge: (basic)
- IPC standards CID, CID+RoHs, WEEE
