Your tasks:
- Development and design of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo, Inventor)
- Creation of 2D drawings, parts lists, and technical documentation
- Performance of tolerance analyses, strength assessments and thermal analyses
- Collaboration with production, purchasing, quality assurance, and external suppliers
Your skills:
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification (e.g., technician with relevant experience)
- Relevant experience in mechanical engineering of at least 5 years
- Experience in design (including construction] and development of cooling devices [e.g. “heat exchanger”]
- Confident use of one or more 3D CAD systems
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical design is an advantage
- Experience in dynamic thermal modelling of liquid cooling system
- Experience in specification of cooling systems
- Capability to manage external suppliers for design / construction activities
- Experience in construction of mechanical chassis for electronics devices [for hot & harsh] environment
- Knowledge in additive production methods and mandatory design constraints
- Knowledge of standardization, materials science, manufacturing processes, and tolerance management
- Analytical and structured thinking
- Ability to work in a team Initiative and strong communication skills
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
